Ensuite renovations

Renovating a tired ensuite, or carving a new one out of a bedroom or robe — both come down to the same thing: fitting a functional wet area into the smallest space in the house.

New ensuites and full rebuilds

Ensuite with frameless glass shower screen

Adding an ensuite where there wasn’t one

This is mostly a plumbing and structural question rather than a design one. How far the new room sits from existing waste lines, whether the wall you want to move is carrying load, and where the ventilation goes. We work that out on site before talking about tiles, because those answers decide what is possible and what it costs.

Working in very small rooms

An ensuite is often under four square metres. At that size, wall-hung vanities, the swing of the door and the shower screen detail stop being style choices and start being the difference between a room that works and one you resent using.
